Product Description

Discover His Majesty’s Pop Life – The Purple Mix Club, a rare Prince compilation originally created for promotional use in 1985. Only 500 LP copies were pressed at the time, making it a sought-after collection of remixes and alternate versions from the Prince & The Revolution era.

After a limited vinyl reissue of 2,000 copies worldwide for Record Store Day 2019, this Japanese-exclusive release brings the compilation to CD for the first time worldwide. It includes two versions receiving their first-ever CD release: “Pop Life (Extended Version)” and “Paisley Park (Remix).”

This limited-production Japanese CD edition features a paper sleeve package, a four-page color booklet featuring the original LP label artwork, original track commentary from 1985, and an early Prince timeline.
