The Mobile Kit by ilsang isang is a creative DIY hanging mobile inspired by the surrealist works of Belgian painter René Magritte. Reinterpreting Magritte’s imaginative visual language, this artistic mobile kit transforms everyday objects and perspectives into a playful contemporary decorative sculpture.
Designed by Seoul-based creator Jong-su Kim, founder of ilsang isang, the kit encourages a hands-on creative experience where the assembly process itself becomes part of the artistic journey. Inspired by Magritte’s ability to challenge ordinary perspectives, the mobile invites users to discover movement, balance, and visual storytelling through interactive design.
Crafted from paper, stainless steel, and thread, the finished mobile creates elegant floating motion suitable for living rooms, studios, creative workspaces, bedrooms, and modern interiors.
