For Lovers is the second studio album by Japanese indie pop band Lamp, originally released in 2004 and now reissued as a Japan paper jacket CD with a double-sleeve (A-style) design. This album expanded the band’s approach to songwriting, arrangements, and musical expression, becoming one of the most representative Japanese indie releases of the 2000s.
Though originally an independent release, For Lovers gained international recognition over time through word of mouth. It ranked #8 on Rate Your Music’s global album chart for 2004 and reached #1 on Apple Music U.S. (J-Pop category).
