Takenobu Igarashi Eki Black Desk Clock
Product Description
The Eki Desk Clock is designed by Takenobu Igarashi and is inspired by the station clocks created for the east and west concourses of Sapporo Station. Double-sided display for this station (one side white, one side black),the design was developed to ensure readability from below, with the lower half of the numerals oriented upward for easier viewing.
This personal desk clock version follows the same design concept, featuring a clear dial with distinctive numerals that emphasize legibility and balance.
The clock frame is made using aluminum sand casting and precision machining techniques. The distance between the dial and the glass is minimized to create a clean and refined appearance that reflects a timeless and functional design.
