The Hobonichi Techo 2026 “Kurukuru Pedal” planner cover is a collaboration inspired by the 1994 Super Famicom game MOTHER 2, designed by Shigesato Itoi.

Named Kurukuru Pedal, this cover is designed in a size similar to the original game package. The front features an embossed illustration of Ness riding a bicycle, pressed directly into the leather surface.

Leather & Craftsmanship

The cover is made from deep brown genuine leather, finished with an embossed texture. The leather is vegetable-tanned, allowing it to develop a natural patina over time, enhancing its character and depth with use.

• Back cover: original pixel-art style illustration of Twoson, the town where Ness receives his bicycle
