The Hobonichi Techo 2026 MOTHER Clay Figures HON Planner is a special collaboration inspired by the Super Nintendo game MOTHER 2: Giygas Strikes Back, originally released in 1994 and designed by Shigesato Itoi.

This HON edition features the “Clay Figures” design, based on the original clay models created during the development of MOTHER 2 and used in official strategy guides and publications at the time. The vivid background creates a playful, pop-style cover, while the photographs preserve the figures in their original, unretouched condition—including natural aging marks.

Characters appearing on the cover include Ness, Paula, Jeff, Mr. Saturn, King, and Starman, with additional clay figures printed on the back cover. The spine is decorated with character artwork, allowing faces to remain visible even when the planner is stored flat on a shelf.

A white foil-stamped “MOTHER 2” and “HOBONICHI” logo finishes the bottom of the cover. The set also includes a Mr. Saturn paper clip, printed on both sides (“It’s a Secret” / “Powdered.”), featuring a pixel-style Mr. Saturn design that pops up for easy page marking.
